Some stops on a Big Island itinerary are all about the beach. Others are all about the story. Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park is the latter. This actually turned out to be one of the more noteworthy stops of our trip with a four- and six-year-old in tow. We went in without huge expectations….
